Good luck - both Atelier and TRS Coral are good choices. I would have a hard time choosing between the two on a return trip and the decision might come down to room types available and price point. I did the spa at both and felt that they were both equally good. TRS has the tennis center, which we used quite often while there, so that was a perk that we enjoyed. Overall, Atelier was more modern and design wise, I liked it more. The rooftop pool was our favorite place to be during the day, but that perk is only available to Inspira level guests, so again, it is hard to compare apples to apples between that and TRS. The views and the amenities in the room were outstanding, although I did find that it was harder to get help from the Concierge at Atelier than the shared Butlers at TRS. We had a master suite at Atelier and it was amazing. Atelier was much more crowded feeling than TRS, there was a noticeable difference in the morning with the number of reserved pool chairs and just more people in general. The butler service was great at TRS Coral and we enjoyed the pool and beach area. We stayed in a Loft Ambassador Suite at TRS which was very nice, had a great ocean view and plenty of room. The beach is just as nice between at each resort. I really enjoy the breakfast buffet at Atelier more than TRS, but other than that, I thought the food options were pretty similar. The service at both was great, with a bit better service at Atelier. Of the two, the edge goes to Atelier, although we did have Inspira benefits at Atelier and a higher category of room which means our stays were not quite evenly matched. Guests may enjoy all-inclusive privileges at the neighboring Dreams Playa. We stayed at TRS Coral in late April of 2021 and transferred over to Atelier for a few nights right afterwards. This all-inclusive resort is exclusively for adults, and features two pools, nine restaurants, seven bars and lounges, 424 spacious suites, a fitness center, a nightclub, and a 16,000-square-foot spa with an outdoor hydrotherapy. After both of these experiences, Secrets/Dreams is on my no-go list. The Dreams Playa Mujeres was the absolute worst all inclusive I have ever been to and that is second only to a trip I took to a Secrets in Jamaica. I have been to TRS Coral and Atelier both within the last few months and pre-covid stayed at Dreams Playa Mujeres, the family friendly side of Secrets.
